Our Monday meeting is a Big Book Study meeting. It begins promptly at 8:00 PM.

Its purpose is to study A.A.'s basic text, the book Alcoholics Anonymous, to arrive at a better understanding of how we might incorporate the A.A. Twelve Steps in our lives. Books are available at the meeting, however it is suggested that each member bring his or her own for study purposes.

The format is a simple one. The meeting chairperson reads a portion from the book and begins the discussion of the material read. Each person, speaking in turn, shares his or her personal experience with the points under study.

This group discourages "cross-talk" (the commenting on someone elses comments), believing that we each have something to offer and that our own experience ought not be open for critque.

Big Books, as well as other literature, are available for purchase from the group should anyone need to do so.
